On October 8, 2011, Shenzhen Yiri Technology Co., Ltd. successfully joined the ZigBee Alliance.
The Zigbee Alliance ( http://www.zigbee.org ) was established in August 2001. In the second half of 2002, the four giants of British Invensys, Japan's Mitsubishi Electric, American Motorola and Dutch Philips Semiconductors jointly announced that they would join the "Zigbee Alliance" to develop the next-generation wireless communication standard called "Zigbee". This event became a milestone in the development of the technology. The main goal of the ZigBee Alliance is to provide consumers with more flexible and easier-to-use electronic products by adding wireless networking capabilities. ZigBee technology can be integrated into various electronic products, and its application range spans the global civil, commercial, public and industrial markets. Manufacturers can finally use ZigBee, a standardized wireless networking platform, to design a variety of products that are simple, cheap, and power-efficient. ZigBee has a wide range of applications, including smart buildings, industrial automation, medical equipment, smart homes, and various monitoring systems. After adding ZigBee technology to the product, it can have the high efficiency of IEEE802.15.4 and can communicate with other devices.
