The KTW177(A) intrinsically safe walkie-talkie for mines is based on the ZigBee communication technology. It can be used with the ZigBee positioning base station for communication in mines, or disconnected from the network for point-to-point communication. In the absence of any network, the walkie-talkie can be used as a signal relay device to expand the scope of communication. It is especially suitable for emergency communication without network, such as underground relocation.
